Recon 2000 will kick off this year with the beginning of what they hope will be annually, to be one of the largest gathering of gamers ever to take place in North America! Recon 2000 is an event created by Recon Networks, a professional internet services provider.
Recon 2000's first event will occur at the Washington D.C. Capital Expo Center. Their mission from the very beginning has been to create an action-packed, adrenaline pumping multiplayer gaming event of epic proportions, all in one facility connected to a network with virtually no latency. Recon 2000 will be one HUGE event, with multiple tournaments in games from Half-Life Counter-Strike to Quake3 Arena and more, and home for three days to as many as 1250 hardcore tournament gamers, as well as vendors, sponsors, and all kinds of other goodies!
