The CPL seems to be taking drastic measures against any cheats/exploits in the upcoming Babbages $15,000 CS tournament -- players are no longer allowed to use config files on the tournament computers. In addition, the console will only be accessible by players when designated supervisors are present. Seems a little anal, but it will only result in a more professional competition.
Last CPL, the designated CS-tourney computers were roped off in a semi-isolated area next to the BYOC, so the event never got too much attention. This time, the main competition area (flooded with the press) is split in two, offering CS half of the spotlight. Check out the floorplan and see what I mean.
