A few more Gooseman interviews have popped up. The first, over at Challenge-nz has some good questions, and does confirm vehicles in BETA 7.
And finally, Planet of games has posted another interview, which has some new nuggests if info:

With the addition of the new vehicle movement code, will this allow mappers the ability to have armoured vehicles, such that one player may drive and another may aim and shoot?
Gooseman:
Right now, the CS code does not support this... (I'm told it's quite difficult). The fully controllable vehicles themselves are immensely fun even without turrets.
