You notice how I'm the only one on the staff who posts about these leagues? Arggggg! Anyways, someone, like, sent an update on the Fragapalooza 2k:
Just thought I should let you know the results of the Fragapalooza 2000 Counter Strike Tournament. Incase you didn't know Fragapalooza (http://www.fragapalooza.com) is a massive lan party in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. This year we had about 400 people including 23 5 person+ Counter Strike teams. We ended up have a very close match between team Team nightmar3/CSAS (Swinger, Roto Rooter, MaxXximum, Overdrive, Nexes, and [n]VapeS) and Team Newbies?NO (Mug, -2s-Santa_Claus, Chan-ho-nam, RazorbacK, hung-Hing). Team nightmar3/CSAS ended up edging out Newbies?NO in both the games winning the tournament. They recieved a choice of a bunch of different video cards (from ASUS, Matrox, ATI, and 3dfx) a t-shirt, some software and an UltraQ sound system. To my knowledge this was the first ever large Counter Strike Tournament held at a Lan Party. The tree of the single elimination bracket can be seen at http://plaza.v-wave.com/ebay/CStourney.htm

Here is a picture of the winning team: http://plaza.v-wave.com/ebay/Nightmar3.jpg
    And PanZer sent this in:
jolt.co.uk one of the UKs leading gaming ISPs is running a CS knockout clan tourney. Initially the tournament is open to 32 clans, but if the demand is there they will increase the brackets to cater for either 64 or 128 clans. For more inf. drop by the jolt site.
