We've gotten off of our collective bums and posted our interview with barney. Here's a tidbit:
Be sure to check out the new aztec shots at the bottom!Damarr: Have you designed maps for other games such as Quake II, or do you concentrate solely on Half-Life?
Barney: Initially in my Quake days, I was just trying new things with the editor. I didn't really have the knowledge to use it to any constructive extent and any of the maps I did make were very basic and not really worth releasing. I did make a few DM levels for Quake 2, one called "Zerog" and another called "CastleDM1" but they were limited to my lan, and have long since dissapeared. I used the map editors for Grand theft auto for a while, it was one of my favorite games for some time so I tended to make a lot of stuff for that. More recently ive been playing around with the Unreal Editor for its dynamic lighting and more powerful engine, but by far my mot popular game to map for is Half-life, and Counterstrike.
