If it had, our picks of Unreal Tournament, Half Life or Quake 3: Arena might have had some value. But no - this category was chosen by GamePlay, and they awarded Best Multiplayer Game to CounterStrike. For those still unfamiliar with CounterStrike, it is a modification for Half Life, still in the Beta stage. However, Gameplay have a vested interest in this mod, as they are currently sponsoring it`s development along with Valve
