Well, over at BarrysWorld they've posted up an article discussing the PC Zone awards. It seems CS got an honorable mention, check this out:
Well, the obvious picks were CounterStrike, Opposing Force, Unreal Tournament or Quake 3. You may wonder why no-one chose Half-Life. Well, we thought about it, and discounted it since it`s been out for so long, and as far as we could remember, had already won Game of the Year from PC Zone. There was also much discussion about CounterStrike, it being a beta of a mod for Half-Life, rather than a game in it`s own right. The eventual winner was Unreal Tournament, with the forgotten Aliens vs Predator as another entry, along with the discounted Half-Life.Yeah, sure. Check that whole article out here. Thanks, Paul!
