Well, well, well.. I have some critical new to report, mailbags are boring to do! That said and done the CS site has been updated with a new poll asking which map if any is to be cut in beta 3. I hope not one map gets cut as they all are fun and enjoyable, but leading right now is Zoption, one of my personal favorites. Please go to the forum and raise hell, this is a great map from a great mapper and it doesn't deserve to get cut.
In other news version 3 of the ever popular rubicon has been posted here. Now I don't want anyone sending Synax any links to maps or map sites, they won't get posted. I'll post pics of your map and pimp it, but I won't link directly to a download (I'll link to a personal site which has it, but only it or other maps by yourself). Do I support map sites? No. Do I support releasing maps to the public? Yes. But please try to get in the mod first, it'll be much better for all parties involved especially you. Don't send the map, just a link, or if the map isn't out yet and you want to send pics include ONLY zipped jpegs please, e-mail me here. Also try to post on the CS forum before e-mailing me, if I like what I see (I'm a regular there) I'll post some info here.
Finally I promised to link to a cool site I was given to by a guy (the webmaster :) on IRC. It's called Anarchy Design and is closely linked with a VERY infamous CS maps site, but that's not why I'm linking to it. Basically the site is a mapping resource center for CS, the first of it's kind that I know of. Not much is up now, but they do tell ya how to get different hostage skins, ROCK! Also they're willing to playtest and review your maps. Check it out here.
