Spyro the Dragon
A new rumor ignited by Kotaku and "multiple sources familiar with the project" say that Activision is working on a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster. You know, kind of like what they did with the stellar Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy? The rumor continues on to suggest that there will be an announcement made in March 2018 with a planned release for the third quarter of this year, presumably in September to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the first game's initial release date.

The sources tell Kotaku that the remaster will include new assets, lighting, animations, cinematics, and a remastered soundtrack. It is being worked on by Vicarious Visions. It will also reportedly feature improvements to the save feature in the game. Obviously, the trilogy will include Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage!, and Year of the Dragon.

Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster is also said to be a timed exclusive on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. This exclusive period will run for one year, meaning that other platforms will then get the game later in 2019. This also seems to be in line with the belief that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is coming to non-Sony platforms later this year.
