Saber Interactive announced today that they are making a spiritual successor to NBA Street and NBA Jam that they're calling NBA Playgrounds. The game will be officially licncesed by the NBA and is set to included players that are both active and retired.

Players can "level up" as they perform any one of the "hundreds of over-the-top dunks and moves." There will be solo play, local multiplayer, and "against the world" online modes.

NBA Playgrounds will be released on the PC, PS4, XB1, and Switch in May for the price of $20 (USD).
