  • Oculus Announces Partnership with PC Manufacturers for Sub $1,000 'Oculus Ready' PCs

    Today at Oculus Connect, VP of Product Nate Mitchell announced that their company will be partnering with various PC manufacturers to bring "Oculus Ready" PCs priced at under $1,000 (USD).

    So far, Oculus revealed that they have set up partnerships with Nvidia, Asus,Alienware, Dell, AMD, and Intel. All "Oculus Ready" computers will ship with a special tag (seen below) to show that it meets the requirements to handle virtual reality adequately.


    The very minimum specs required for Oculus are an Nvidia GTX 970 or equivalent AMD GPU. More concrete requirements will undoubtedly be revealed as the 2016 launch nears.
