The ESA Foundation recently chose 30 students, each of whom will receive a $3,000 scholarship to be used for education in game development, reports Gamasutra.
Hopefully these scholarships will help passionate students explore game design, and eventually bring some new talent into the industry.
"The recent high school graduates and college students, who hail from across the United States, will each receive $3,000 to use towards college educations in programming, art, or other development-related fields of study, with the goal of establishing careers in video game development."
