Defense is spelled wrong, and the grammer is incorrect in many sentences(strike 1). I agree with the anonymous poster that the phrasing of the paragraph is inconsistent with other Valve posts(strike 2). I haven't contacted Valve about it, so I can't verify any other reports of 'confirmation' that it is indeed a fake. The fact that this was only caught by one person is also suspicious (strike 3).

On the other hand, my suspicion was that Soldier was next and Demo/Engy will have a similar combined release as the sniper/spy. We'll just have to wait.

Fake.

The fonts are different between the posts (and they should be uniform as it's a feed view).
Look at a capital I in each one. Also the shade of blue is different for the titles.

If you take notice, there's a big difference between the way posts are worded and even the content of the posts when they are written by someone at Valve and when they are written by one the the "TF2 classes". The thing about this supposed leak is that it starts off (topic) and ends as if it was written by the soldier, but the post is written like someone from the team. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never saw that happening in any of the other blog posts. Could very well be a fake... I mean, we all kind of suspected this news anyway, so a well informed fan could have easily produced this.

The unknown one speaks sense.

Guys, i REALLY hate to break it to you but this is fake. As much as i wanted this to be real. Robin Walker confirmed in an email this is fake, and on the same thread this was originally posted the OP stated it was fake. I don't have time to find sources but PLEASE believe me.

I hope it is not another 'stun' weapon like the scout has. The 'shock and awe' sounds like a stunzooka. Or perhaps it will dizzy the enemy? Whatever it does, it sounds like more of a 'support' role.
