Microsoft has announced the release date of some highly anticipated downloadable content today. Both the upcoming map pack for Gears of War 2 and the map pack for Halo 3 were given release dates.
The Snowblind map pack for Gears of War 2 will be released on March 31. For 800 Microsoft points ($10 USD), players can duke it out on "winter-themed environments" that include Grindyard, Under Hill, Courtyard, and Fuel Depot.
Also priced at 800 MS points, the Halo 3 "Mythic Map Pack" was now given a release date of April 9. This pack includes three maps and they are Assembly, Orbital and Sandbox.
