BattleForge Community Update - 20/02/2009 - Community Watch 04/09

As the week draws to a close, we here on the BattleForge Community Team take the opportunity to have a look back at the events of the past two weeks with our 4th Community Watch of 2009.
On the news end, we had a couple happenings of note:
There will be a patch next week that will release all 200 cards into the beta. In the process, all beta accounts will be reset. We also announced a special thank you for our beta testers: the Firedancer.
EA Trax has released three of the songs from the BattleForge soundtrack as a free download. The announcement was accompanied by a news piece and orchestra trailer that supplied a behind-the-scenes look into the process behind the fantastic soundtrack.
The seventh and final tutorial with Sebastian Nell went online. In this final installment Sebastian shows how you can utilize your card upgrades won on the field of battle.
TCGplayer.com has opened an official BattleForge card legend contest. Participants are invited to submit a card legend (150 words or less) for the Avatar of Frost. Every entry receives a key to BattleForge beta. The winning entry will be immortalized as the official card legend when the game goes live.
There have also been some movements within the BattleForge community:
The good people at http://battleforge.gamona.de/ have been very busy. They have posted a Community Story on the website, added extensive information about the different powers, and also organized all tutorials and trailers on one page. All links here are in German.
BFcards.info now supports French!
Our friends at BattleForge Poland have a new url. You can visit them at www.battleforge-polska.pl.
The winners of the German language card legend contest run through Gamestar have been chosen. We will be making an announcement next week!
The website mmoabc.com is all out of beta keys. They gave out all 5000 in less than two weeks.
As always, on Facebook you will find some exclusive BattleForge goodies. There will be some official screenshots that are not available on the website.
