For the third time this year, we take a look back at community happenings from the past two weeks. This time around we have a handful of highlights that stirred things up in the last fortnight. The most important event of the last two weeks was definitely the first BattleForge Developer Chat with the German-speaking community, lead by Martin Löhrein. But no worries, a chat in English for the international community will take place in the near future. A transcript of the entire chat is available in both English and German.
The American website MMOABC has given away almost BattleForge 3000 beta keys. There are still a few left, and you can easily get one of them by registering for a free MMOABC account.
The official Polish Card Reveal Contest took place last week, where users of the gram.pl sent in captions for BattleForge cards. The winning caption was patched into the game; similar to the contest run by Gamestar for the German speaking community. The first Polish BattleForge fansite was launched last week.
The first French language documentation of the card databank was completed on the BattleForge-France.com site. Like on bfcards.info, all cards that are available in the game have been organized and listed.
The German website BattleForge HQ from Gamona has undergone a complete redesign. It is a wonderful example of how well someone can utilize the Fansite kit.
There was also a new patch for the beta that released some new ultra rare cards for our beta testers. Our beta testers might come across a Dreadnaught or Avatar of Frost in their next booster pack. You can check out the patch notes here.
We are also happy to announce that our Facebook BattleForge portal now has over 500 fans sharing their passion. You can also become a fan of BattleForge on Facebook.
On Facebook you will find some exclusive BattleForge goodies. There will be some official screenshots that are not available on the website.
Next week, we will have some more BattleForge treats for you, including something for your ears. Be sure to come by next week and visit us at BattleForge.com!
