BattleForge Community Update - 18/12/08 New Shadow Card Revealed & Wallpaper
EA Phenomic has sent us another community update for BattleForge today this time the team has revealed a new Shadow card and a new wallpaper to go with it. Check it out:
After the two Nature units added to our cards section last week, we're now officially introducing the first Shadow cards here on the site: the Death Ray and the Dreadcharger. The Death Ray is a mighty battleship, able to feed off the energy of allied units. The Dreadcharger is a cavalry unit and is also able to sacrifice friendly units to gather energy which it can then use to crush nearly everyone and everything in its path.
My father's hand had been dragging me along for thirteen hours. The sorry excuse for a sun was about to set. We had marched all day, losing as many people to exhaustion as we had in the raid the night before. Swamp ahead, swamp to the sides, a foul stench everywhere. Despite the imminent nightfall, we were ordered to move on. I glimpsed back, hoping the Thugs would not follow us here. What I saw made cry in relief. A single black rider had slain each and every one of them. My savior, my hero! As he strode towards us, I wanted to turn and embrace him. I struggled against my father's grip, but to no avail, as he pulled me deeper into the fen.
