BattleForge Community Update - 11/12/08 New Card Reveal and New Russian Forums

Our weekly card reveal brings you two new Nature cards today but things are a bit different this time around, however, as instead of two new units we've added the first building and the first spell to the Nature cards collection. The first card is the Mark of the Keeper, a building able to generate a powerful anti-magic zone around itself, which keeps enemies from using long-range attacks and abilities. The anti-magic zone also prevents enemy troops from spawning near the building.
The second card added today has only recently been patched into the beta: the Ensnaring Roots is a Nature spell which literally roots enemy units to the ground. With only one Nature Orb needed, the Ensnaring Roots are an outstanding tactical option to keep the advancing enemy away from your own army for some crucial seconds.
Russian community forums
And in addition to our German and English community forums, we are happy to inform you that the official Russian community forums have now been launched, a place where all our Russian friends can talk about BattleForge. Dmitry "Y(x)" Polyakov, our Russian Online Community Manager in Moscow, will take care of the new forum section and make sure that everyone sticks to the forum rules there.
