BattleForge Community Update - 04/12/08 - 2 New Nature Cards
EA Phenomic has sent us another community update today for their upcoming RTS game BattleForge this time they reveal two new nature cards some of the most powerful yet. Take a look:

The first powerful Nature card revealed today is the Timeshifter Spirit, who is able to put up a strong anti-magic shield around himself, thereby making it impossible for enemy units to spawn nearby. The Timeshifter Spirit can also heal friendly units with its Regrowth ability. In heavy contrast to this defensive support unit, we present you the Grimvine, a heavy giant unit who can use its roots to bind enemies in his target area to the ground and his siege ability to lay waste to enemy buildings.
Grimvine: With the tear of the sun came a Forest of fire. And it grew swiftly and spread over fields and mountains. The brave resistance of our eldest ancestors met the unappeasable thirst of the flames. Although the first generation of Trees was consumed in this fire, it was not the end of us. For in the ashes of the primeval Forest was buried a seed. Strengthened by the divine soil of its bed, it grew to become the Grimvine. Defeater of endless winters; planter of countless Forests; no older Tree still rebukes the sky. Even though the Grimvine is only as strong as a single branch of the very first Trees, each of its own branches is stronger than any Tree that grows today.
