I believe it helping the community go 'round. Also, it is good that there is all this effort going into some of the mods. PR is really going to benefit alot from it.

Re: IDF Community Mod for Project Reality
It's okay for them to use it. You know I am all about sharing assets to help other mods get going. It is also why I spend alot of time working on other mod's projects as well. In an effort to make this community great. :yay: It is the players who benefit the most and that is the idea.
For the record, I have talked with ALOT of the PR "Offshoots", but an IDF one, I have no recollection of. In either case, no damage done. Just make sure credit or a thanks goes someplace in the credits to the EoD Team, so that the guys can get their 'Kudos'. :salute:Leave a comment:

Makes sence.
It is not a problem that they have it. :|: I just wish someone would have let me know that it was going to be borrowed. :shakehead:

I think it said somewhere on the PR forums that they got the jeep from you, but I am not sure since the forums are down.Leave a comment:

Re: IDF Community Mod for Project Reality
Does this have anything to do with the IDF: Fight for Independance mod being developed over at Black Sand Studio?
I don't think so.. It would be good if they were helping each other, but I don't think they are.
I am also a bit puzzled on that M151A2 in the picture there.. It REALLY looks like my Jeep from Eve of Destruction with a different skin on it...

Re: IDF Community Mod for Project Reality
Very good news! If the smaller mods join, the players and developers can only gain from it. I wont DL mod if theres only 3 fanatics playing it ( developer, hes brother, and hes dog).
Make MODS, not war!Leave a comment:

IDF Community Mod for Project Reality
We've been sent some news today about the Israeli Defense Forces community mod being made for Project Reality. The guys over at Project Reality League recently got the chance to have an interview with the one of the creators of this mod. Take a look:
Project Reality League: Tell us about the PR community mods. What *is* a PR community mod and how did this idea come about?
ZZEZ: IDF PR community mod is a bunch of people interested in seeing IDF as a faction in a future PR build and are willing to spend their free time on making it happen. The idea came when THE.FIST originally posted his Micro Galil model in the community mod forum, I always had IDF community mod idea in my mind and decided to contact him and another guy, Lachtang, luckily they both said they'll be happy to work on it.
PRL: How did you come to be in charge of the IDF community mod? What is your role and what do you do for the mod?
ZZEZ: It just kinda happened that I have been made in charge, I was the one organizing it behind the scenes even before it was announced. My roles in the IDF community mods are: weapons coding, vehicles coding, organizing and assigning tasks to people.
