Battlefield Apocalypse Release Date Announced

Finally a unique mod! I hope this will be for Battlefield 2 what Galactic Conquest was for Battlefield 1942 (<- Best mod ever).

HOLY COW! That's all I can say! As one of the original clean sheet mods for BF2 it is good to see you guys finally release your mod build. Just the other day a couple of us were talking about this mod and how it appeared to not have much activity on it.

Therefore, it is good to see that it has finally come to fruition.

I also want to say thanks for all the tutorials, modding information and everything else you guys have done for the mod community over the years.

You can certainly count me in on trying out this mod!

Guy's we're having some trouble uploading the files. The fella who did the final build has been trying all day to upload the files & keeps timing out. He just called to tell me he went to someone elses house to try another connection & upload location.

As soon as the files hit da interweb, we'll let you guys know first.

BFA Craches ...

I have downloaded this "famous" mod...

The only thing I get is CTD.

This mod is useless to me...

Well try changing some of your video setting to lower ones,ive heard of some people having trouble like this in other mods,but when they would lower the vid settings it worked,Idk just a thought.

I was told that there is no single player support (my CTD's happened when I tried that mode)... but ... there are selectable maps in the single player window ! (strange) There are no warning that states BFA is a multiplayer only mod.

I don't have time for multiplayer.

It's always a smart move to delete your BF2 cache before trying a new mod. Video problems with BF2 can often be traced to the BF2 cache, especially when trying a new mod. I always delete it and defrag after installing a new mod.
