hi i have this pc

athlon 64 3200
1gb ram
x800gto2 @ at 850xt

and i have problem with the fps , i want more fps
cause this vga sometimes give me freezes and low fps when i am looking some big building or big battle etc...

how i can optimize my pc or the battlefield 2? without lost quality
someone have the same problem?
i want more performance in this game
plz help me and sorry for my engilsh i am spanish remember

It's just BF2 man,

The freezes can be helped away , just ad another Gb of ram, you will notice a much faster loading of the game, no more freezing in start of round .

In game, you will get FPS drops, the BF2 engine is just on tough piece of crap , even if you have like the UBER system of the UBER systems, you still notice FPS drops under 50 and even lower in certain situations

rombaft is right here, 2 GB makes a big difference with this game.

Let me explain it in spanish :

Tio, en cuanto a los drivers, te aconsejo que le metas los ultimos de ATI, ve a su pagina web y descargalos.

Esta gente le llama "Uber" a un ordenador que sea "lo máximo", o que tenga los ultimos y mejores componentes.
