I'm sure your bored of hearing it but Tactical Gamer is a fine server.

True it's unranked but once you try it a couple of times, it's difficult to play on any random server afterwards and not use VoIP and not have commander giving you proper orders, explaining what the overall plan is.

TG is a great server for those why want to just turn up and expect VoIP and teamwork but maybe don't want to join a clan.

Try VSF Gamers servers. We have a server for BF2 and one for BF2:SF. Definitely a mature crowd with a core group of guys that have been gaming together for years; however, they are very receptive to new folks. I found them 3 months ago and rarely play anywhere else. We use VOIP, squad up and promote team play. Players who TK for vehicles are kicked. BF2 server info is in my sig...SF server IP address is 70.86.157.218:16567.

I was just gonna promote R2, but you beat me to it. haha...

And yes...it gets crowded over there. I stalk it, hoping somebody loses a connection and I can get in. :wall:

Come on budd...bump it up to 64 players. Spread the wealth.

We can run it as 64 players and we use too but we decided on 50 players because there is less mayhem and promotes more teamwork. With 50 players you can actually get a squad working and gets some good teamwork happening.

We may run another server but due to the costs involved we would need donations/sponsorship in order to do this as currently most of the funds come from our clan members. As our server is dedicated to us and us only we pay a higher price than you average 64 player in fact its double the cost of a normal ranked 64 player but hey as they say you get what you pay for.

We have a BF2 and a DCF server running. We are a group of guys and gals that like to play hard and have fun doing it.

Please check the server rules we dont have many and they are in place to ensure everyone has a good time!!!!

Since these servers are located near the US or Europe, are there any good servers around asia? I live in the Philippines and around asia we play on the Singaporean servers (PAGN.net) but they are only 2 servers that run vanilla bf2 and 1 server that runs SF, and they are almost always full.

The Thai and Chinese servers used to have good pings, but now for some reason it became terrible. Taiwanese servers are fine, but they can't speak english 8(.

Although, me and my buddies don't mind playing on servers on the Western part of the world, it's nice to play from time to time with servers with low pings hehe.

Suggestions would be great.

I haven't heard of any private ranked server other than the UK/Europe or USA. Australia has none and it seems the providers who run public ranked servers have done some deal to ensure there aren't any private ranked servers, I guess its the same in a lot of other locations. Seems dumb to me.
