And have you closed as many background processes as you can? (i.e. no file-sharing, instant messengers, anti-virus, firewalls etc running)

                Re: problem with fps

So far, we're offering help but you aren't replying as to whether you've actually tried anything.

If you have a nice spec'd PC, there are 2 possiblitiles:
-BF2 just happens to not like your system
                OR
-your system is VERY poorly optimized..

We're trying to help you optimize your system.

Editor's Note: This information was originally created and belongs to Black Viper We had reproduced it, in large part until the original website returned. As of 3/2007. It did. So go visit Black Vip...

There will likely be no magic fix. You'll have to put a little work into this.

If you don't WANT any more help...just say so. I'll be glad to oblige.

                    Re: problem with fps

Ok..don't bother to try and fix your battlefield problem from work. So don't blame me if you're wasting work time.

I asked you if you tried closing all unnecessary background processes and applications but you did not reply.

I won't be checking this thread again.

I would follow what these guys tell you. For a lot of the problems posted on this support forum a computer geek isnt much help. What you need is what you find here-- A fellow gamer. They have been there, done that, and come back to tell the tail. Look at the posters rank, if its an officer giving advice I would say you have about a 95% chance of it working, or being right. Probably the best you are gonna get on the Net! Thats what I think anyway. . . . .Red

a simple setting change sometimes will do u good..your AA doesnt need to be at max and check ur setting in BF2

Aye i agree with the above these guy's been nothing but helpful to me and ive not been around long at all.

If your not willing to try what they say tho and then post feedback you cannot expect your problems to magically fix themselves sir.
