    Re: Noob Toobers

99% of my noob-tubing (and theres a lot of it lol), and a large majority of what I see in-server is from a distance... I almost never drop a round at a guys feet 2' away from me, but then again, I'm usually using the weapon like a sniper, from a rooftop and to targets 1-2 blocks away....

The close-range rants are getting old...sure, it sucks...I've done it as well, but usually when I'm running with the launcher out and heading from one point to another, I never head into hallways seeking to do this -- hell, as mentioned you usually die...who in their right mind runs into a hall saying "I can't wait to get 1 guy and die myself, its sooo good for my points" ?

As said before, it takes skill to hit someone running across the street 100 meters away from you, catching him in stride for that 1 shot kill. I'll take the 1 shot kill over shooting him, hoping he dies, and hoping he doesn't turn to me and either m203/gp30 me or shoot me and win the confrontation.

Note to those crying over it -- don't even think of joining a clan and playing a competitive match. Matches (we've played 8v8 conquest and 5v5 infantry only matches) consist of noob tubes and a few medics, with the occasional switch over to anti-tank to deal w/armor...but probably 75% of the infantry vs. infantry kills are via m203/gp30.

I used to not really care for it, but I got new found love for the assault class; it's is great for...assaulting. The grenade can one shot kill if placed correctly and take out a humvee or vodnik, and the rifle (esp. the American one) in 3 round burst is so powerful compared to the lighter guns. The body armor helps in coming out on top in many street brawls as well.

I love to kill Tubes with my tank. Especially the daring ones that think they're invincible with it.

50% of my deaths are the result of noob tubing. I play AT a lot, so I like to get in close with my DAO, but a lot of times a noob tuber will come around, jump up, and kill me. Anyone can get 30 kills a game using this method. I dont mind the people who snipe with it, but the noobs who kill you when theyre 3m away from you is the problem. The thing should arm itself at a distance so it is not abused, and fire farther. I also think it should work better against armor and other vehicles.

My God man, do you realize how much crying there'd be if that was the case. The M203 is an anti-personnel weapon. It does work nicely on bugggies and jeeps as it should but it is NOT an anti-armour weapon. It will take out an APC with SERVERAL rounds and maybe a wounded tank.
