Re: Noob Toobers
99% of my noob-tubing (and theres a lot of it lol), and a large majority of what I see in-server is from a distance... I almost never drop a round at a guys feet 2' away from me, but then again, I'm usually using the weapon like a sniper, from a rooftop and to targets 1-2 blocks away....
The close-range rants are getting old...sure, it sucks...I've done it as well, but usually when I'm running with the launcher out and heading from one point to another, I never head into hallways seeking to do this -- hell, as mentioned you usually die...who in their right mind runs into a hall saying "I can't wait to get 1 guy and die myself, its sooo good for my points" ?
As said before, it takes skill to hit someone running across the street 100 meters away from you, catching him in stride for that 1 shot kill. I'll take the 1 shot kill over shooting him, hoping he dies, and hoping he doesn't turn to me and either m203/gp30 me or shoot me and win the confrontation.
Note to those crying over it -- don't even think of joining a clan and playing a competitive match. Matches (we've played 8v8 conquest and 5v5 infantry only matches) consist of noob tubes and a few medics, with the occasional switch over to anti-tank to deal w/armor...but probably 75% of the infantry vs. infantry kills are via m203/gp30.
