This started as a small set of written instructions for a friend that was having BF2 performance issues on a machine that should run the game fine. After helping him with his issues (game performance, that is), I
pondered the 'ultimate performance tweaks' question, and the document grew into its current state. It is a work in progress, feel free to send comments and suggestions, and I hope some piece of it is useful to you.
