Do you have good nights and bad nights?

Last night I played a couple hours of Bf2 and just couldnt do crap. I kept getting killed and nothign seemed to go right. The night before I had 3 or 4 gold stars and owned alot of people, different servers too. Seems that sometimes guns dont dont shot right

I have the same thing.
Some nights I'm "on" and seem nearly invincible.
Other nights, I play like a noob.

I think it happens to all of us.

they shoot fine unfortunately. I do the same thing sometimes. Soem nights your brain doesn't seem to be connected to your head and you do stupid things that you know better not to do

Before the patch came out, I was pretty good. Usually getting around 15-20 kills a round with a bunch of team points, but now i cant get out of a round with more than 20 points and a K/D ratio of around 1/3. I have been playing a lot of Wake, and those deaths are mostly from arty or enemy aircraft. But It could have a lot to do with the fact that about 90% of people are now able to carry the PKM. Scary.

Yeah I have on and off nights. I have been off since the patch. I have been owned by the DAO and the G36....everyone has them now.

well after i upgraded the patch i seem to be better, altho it might have been the 3 ranks ive waited 5 weeks for, thay finally updated so i gots some more killing tools lol :laugh:

In lieu of all the negative threads/posts about the patch, I will continue in the same vein. IT"S EA'S FAULT!!!! They somehow made the game to suck everyother day!!! EA SUX!!!! PATCH is buggered!!!

Seriously though, I too have my good days and bad/very bad days. I guess playing BF2 is like how I play golf. A couple great shots during a round of golf keeps me coming back for more....more punishment, that is...

One thing i've noticed is the armour vehicles seem to be rolling targets and don't last very long at all and there's alot more "on-foot" action going on. I've been seeing alot more people on foot even on the large maps (Kubra, Dragon etc)

oh yeah, and now that you get points for destroying commander toys, the spec-ops are out in force.

yes, I have good nights and bad nights..

bad nights are usually always on maps with chopper and jet whores..
they are still way too powerful, imo. i.e. 1 tank shell should take
them down immediately.

same here, most of the time I get normal days, doing good, and maybe here and there some medal.

Then sometimes I have superdays, doesn't mather wich server I join but I rock hell, getting one medal after the other , high scores and tons of kills.

And sometimes I have days where I get killed and killed over and over the second I spawn, and whatever I shoot I miss, .... getting scores like 15-20 in a round, .... , those days are to :cry: for , but on those days you arte better to quit and just watch some tv or something

Yeah, I have some bad nights and some really good nights.
I've been getting more annoyed with the gameplay since the patch.
I'm gonna switch to 16 player maps or give it up for a few weeks again.
