    1. Once you get the lock and fire rockets, you can actually change to bombs yet still be locked on for the kill?

2.Can you actually kill a pilot who's actually in the tight loop? It almost seems impossible for me?

    3. For the US fighter jet, can you slow down faster if u put on the afterburners?

    4. Does increasing the senstivity / yaw factors increase my turning speed or give me tigher turns?

    thanks!
    1) Yes
    2) Yes
    3) Never Tried
    4) No, you just get to move your mouse less for the same turn

And get on TeamSpeak you bastard. I'll give you some simple advice, only cuz your my ho

But only on the condition that you don't go telling people all the shizzy I tell you

I am by no means a good pilot, but one almost foolproof method I have of getting enemy jets off your tails is this:

Do a half loop, then immediatly bank and turn 180 degrees, then sometimes pull another half loop.

This usually shakes people off your tail.

Thanks the map with low transperity helped!

Alot of people are forgetting to post the very first thing I do when I see another jet, and I am not saying it because I thought it was very obvious but apparantly it isn't.
          Spotting it?

i believe that switching to bombs after missile doesnt do anything because he stlil heres the missle siren that something is coming at him...in fact u should stay in ur missile mode so u can fire more if u need to

                  Re: Jets - The Secret...?

Spotting it is quite a bad tip, no offense. If your spot key is on your keyboard, you'd have to temporarily lose control of the jet so you can spot it. If you moved it to you joystick, you'd still have to use the LMB to click the SPOTTED message, AND it would be very inconvenient when you're on the ground.

I find the best way to get away is to do a half loop up, then take a sharp toon right while TAPPING your afterburner (on, off, on, off, etc.).

I think some people turn the deadzone down on their joystick till its non existant..I fly non stop and was just fighting someone who made the Mec bomber fly like a fighter..I was watching him in reverse view instantly do a super tight turn and be on my tail.
He was definatly doing something "funky" with his speed and turning radius..was able to slow down very quickly yet still be on me..I'd like to know what hack he was using for that. Slimjim...

erm, use th reverse as he came back? i used it couple of times, very useful when trying to dodge ppl, i've hardly been shot down by enemies now, now 99% of my deaths cuz i fly too low and bomb myself to death

Interesting, cuz I can go through the whole instance of spotting another jet so fast that the selection hud for it doesn't render completely. If you get used to it, you can do it fast enough that you can do it while turning and not mess anything up. The amount of time you lose control is next to nil, again, if your fast enough.

And yes, I do fly with a mouse, using the default settings for the placement of keys on the board also.
