Aiming

Firstly, I'm not a pro gamer and I dont play much so I have some difficulties to aim.
There some of my problems :

1*At close range (when you and your enemy are jumping around each other and trying to shot at him). I just seem to pissed off and cant hit the guy with my gun.

2*I just dont know how, the guy was like very far, I saw him, then got prone and began to right-click and aim but the guys just hit me like that and killed me in two shots..

So can you give me some tips, you know like when I have to right-click to aim or just aim with the crosshair... your mouse sensibility preference... tips for close range and long range... or some tips when the enemy is proned, crouched or standing.

Also, seem I have hard time to hit a guys when he's running or moving. I knwo the ping is there for something but I usually have 50 ~ 80 of ping.

All I can suggest is go with the Special Ops kit and work with the single fire mode since the reticle is pretty tight with little recoil. Work on aiming with that. Some unlocks work better with single fire mode or "bursting" like the Support kit and its guns.

Spec ops gun (m4), or any gun with iron sights that can be fired single shot. Just fire quickly at the head.

When you're close, make sure you're in full auto, and crouch or go prone when you encounter an enemy.

Use the M4 against the bots and make sure you aim for the head and with time you'll aim for the head without even thinking about it.

First off, your ping is fine. I usually have a ping around 90-100 and it is ok. Anything above 125, I start to get command lag. Anyway, on to your questions.

1) At close range (say shotgun range), you don't need to zoom to aim. Just go full auto (or burst :hmm: ) and aim for the body. If he's very close, prepare for a bunny hop engagement. If he's not in shotgun range but still relatively close, immediately go prone and open fire.

2) At medium to far range, shoot in semi-auto. If you can control your gun in full-auto and fire in bursts, you're good to go. That guy probably got you with a lucky shot. I find the AK101 is good for those fluke shots.

Press '3' or use the wheel-mouse (when you're using the rifle).

I tend to keep looking for my crosshairs to change to the * signaling a hit. I've learned not to depend on the sights/crosshairs as much as remembering where the shots actually hit.

I've also learned that the SMG on single shot is incredible. No more wasting rockets on lonewolves. Just look for the crosshair to change then stay there.

For jumpers unless you have the shotty or are AT, its all spray and pray.

And yes, to change to Singleshot just hit 3, you will hear a click.

pistol helps alot too...pull up the iron sights and you'll be amazed at the range that gun has...

been able to out snipe snipers with the m4 SO gun in single fire...great weapon to work on... and remember, there are hit boxes, just like any other fps, so you certainly want to keep ur aim up - always look and be concious of where u are aiming - everyone at one point or another resorts to 'zombie aiming' and is putting the gun in their chest....
