BF2 can only support 17" monitors and below. It also doesn't support LCD screens.
jk, we need more details, like does anything happen, ie splash screen? did you try the old monitor? I can't imagine this is all because of a monitor. -

When you install new hardware you have to reinstall bf2. You probly installed new drivers, so try reinstalling.Comment

Well it's something to do with your My Documents/Battlefield 2/ Folder, try deleting it, then try again. If not, then reinstall.Comment

hah! i knew it was all a settings conflict. I looked thru my video.con file and changed the refresh rate. It was set as 85 herts becaue my CRT could handl that. So then i knew my new LCD i only capable of 75 hertz so i changed it to 75hertz and it booted up. I'm a genius!Originally posted by NitemareComment
