Need Help Installing Source!!!

Ok here we go

I recently bought Half Life 2 Which Includes Counter Strike Source
Theres 5 CDS and Source is on the last one
When I install Half Life AND Counter Strike Source I need to connect to steam to finsish the install!!

You see the problem is my internet is SO SO SO SLOW!
IT TOOK ME 40 MINUTES TO POST THIS THREAD!

so my question is, is there a way to play half life 2 or counter strike source WITHOUT having to use steam!

Can I just PLAY counter strike source of it atleast!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!! I SPENT 100 DOLLARS ON IT!!!

Nope, no way. You should have checked the box - 'An internet connection is required to play'. You won't just need to connect to Steam, you'll need to download a bunch of updates too. Either get broadband, or send the game back :/
