I don't think this has been posted here yet, but if it has, my apologies.

This is a pretty long post about Dice, EA, the Battlefield franchise and development of Battlefield 3.
If your a long time Battlefield fan, a lot of this will just be a rehash, but it does serve to explain the angst and frustration of Battlefield 3 fans.

Hm... I may be DDF but it still seems like game political whitewash IMO.

i've been away for a while, but that seems to be a pretty good assessment of how things went down. even to this day, players will still have their difference of opinions on how things should have been and how they should be. it seems to me that ea tried to appeal to so many different types of players, that they have done a better job of dividing, rather than uniting the community.
