IGN pushed it back for tomorrow. The interview did however take place.

I was pretty pissed myself. I was waiting all day Tuesday, and Wednesday just to have them push it back last min.

I was waiting for a lot more content then this, and I kind of wanted a 1943 release date. I suppose its to early it would be nice though.

I dont see much info there.
Did they have it taken down? Seems like some info was taken down from Planet.

I hope they dont screw this up.
All these changes to the game geared toward higher sales and they only deliver a closed door interview at the biggest showcase they will have?

They need a blockbuster demo if theres a chance in H*ll to unseat the Ward.

How could EA screw that up.

The video is up it actually isn't that bad. I love the blood squirting everywhere. I am happy just to see blood everywhere now all I need is 1943 release date. Which I will be buying for my 360 just to try it out for a few hours. Until my PC version comes out I don't know what it is I just cant stand playing online console games for more then 30min at a time.

Nice. I like the overall look of the game, in particular, the lighting looks very good, IMO. And even though they were in the background, the audio/sounds appear to be the same high-quality stuff I heard in the Bad Company 1 videos I watched. It was also good to see the destructibility of various materials in action.

I'm sure some people will probably not like the "cluttered" look of the HUD...just keep in mind that for Consoles, they often move HUD elements away from the edges of the screen to compensate for the large varieties of TV's out there. For PC, it's quite likely that everything will be closer to the edges of the screen, and possibly have a transparency adjustment.

              So far, so good.

Yea, What I am really happy about is them going back to a real clip system. So it would seem rifles no longer have 50 bullets hopefully meaning it wont take 20 bullets to kill someone. I have said this before it wouldn't really effect PC guys with 50 bullets because we have way better accuracy. I was just worried about the gameplay it would in tale.

The video looks good. I think this will definately be an improvement on BC1. The only thing that is worrying me now is that the player count will be too small. Battlefield used to be one of the biggest (player count i mean) multiplayer FPS on the market and now (for consoles at least) it is one of the smallest. With the FPS market becoming hugely competitive I think this game will struggle because of its lower player count as it now has to compete more with the likes of COD, Killzone 2, etc because it doesn't offer the same uniqueness in battle size as it used to. The 24 player count generally means reduced map size and less effectiveness for vehicles as the battles tend to be more close quarters. MAG is looking very promising and may provide an alternative to players looking for something a bit bigger than 24 players. Its a shame really because I think that BC2 could have been outstanding if they had increased the player count. Looks like we'll have to wait a few more years before we get a full Battlefield on the consoles.

The game looks promising. My biggest concern is the size of the maps and whether or not it will be limited to 24 players on the pc. But it looks like it could be a lot of fun and in the tradition of the Battlefield series. I'm impressed.

I'm surprised the best game play footage of BC2 has only gotten 8 responses.
