HDMI on first xbox360 model

Hey guys dint knew wher to post this thought try in on here sins it s a 360 topic.

So i have my xbox360 from launch and it s still working great, now my problem is that it doest have tha fancy hdmi port witch they now include whit evry xbox360 . I dont wanna sell it because this one seems indistructable . Does enyone know how i can get HDMI convertor or something. I found this thing on 360.com http://www.xbox.com/nl-NL/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/ but does it work on HDTV tv s aswell or is it only for pc monitors

Component out (RGB cables) has the same resolution. Just flip the switch on the cord. Don't screw around with a converter. Plus, what you linked to is a converter to connect it to a computer using VGA.
