Yeah CTF is a great place to just sit with 3 other people and spwn rape the other team in their base...

But this can only happen for so long because once someone catches the flag your spawn points get closer to their base moving you away from the spawn raping. There is a huge amount less spawn raping in CTF than in TDM.

And i agree, i love HC CTF because of the bolt rifles. I was on a HC server yesterday where we all agreed to only use bolt rifles or shotguns, was great fun.

TDM Spawns are horrible, I must agree.

Rifles are horrible unless playing HC.

I like the game, don't get me wrong. But it has more flaws than it does good things about it, and it really turns me off. I'm waiting for the full version to see if new maps and mods will help with what the game itself is lacking. We can only hope.

I'm afraid I've become a HC CTF nub. Simply so I can actually kill with the mosin in one shot, fed up of shooting chests at point blank [softcore] and they continue to MG42 me. although I don't attack on HC CTF, the enemy always just uses bipodded MG42's in windows, covering flag from point blank etc.

I have avoided TDM for this very reason, im finding CTF to be an awesome game mode because it has that "safe zone" feeling where each team owns half of the map. Playing it in HC also adds great fun as it allows you to imo use the bolts how they should be, a one hit kill.

TDM is like in CoD4... fun for a while (but then it just gets really random and pointless.

CTF is fun, but I hate that half the enemy team are cowards and camp the flag :) S&D is still the best imo, even shotty has its place there while it gets severely gimped in other game modes

Hey, look at it this way -- it's a target rich environment.

There is no team spawn at all, everybody just spawns randomly at any different location, it's like a deathmatch where you can't kill half the people on the server.

I hope they fix that.
