If I didnt have my own server , I'd start countless threads about how poor a job everyone else was doing at running their server :)

Sorry , couldn't resist flipping the script on this one .

But really ... There are some nice ideas on server set ups posted so far . As Skates pointed out , some of these have been tried and its just too darn hard to populate sometimes . We have a 50 thats doing just fine , but we have a 32 slot that I continualy redo the map lineup on . Will keep an eye on this thread for sure , to see if someone comes up a solid map list that might be better for our group .

i played 8v8 IO minsk a little while ago. theres few people, its got a fresh, cold feel to it (its the ice age) and if your using an assault rifle you actually kind of have to conentrate to kill targets that are farther than 90m away

I would change the age requirement to "You can only use the mic if your balls have already dropped. If you don't have balls, then I guess that makes you exempt."

While we're at it, let's make it a rule to have VoIP set up and the mic is properly adjusted. I've heard kids whose voice sounds like music to my ears, followed by 25+ year olds who sound like they shoved the mike down their throat and are so overloaded that I think I'm hearing an electric guitar solo.

I wish EA/DICE would just release all the NS content so that we could do that without losing a good portion of the server every time it would switch to an NS map because of those that don't have it.

Totally agreed. I definitely got my money's worth out of NS (and I bought it 3 times!) a long time back. I'd have ZERO problem now if they decided to at least let the maps go for free just so we can see more NS in map rotations. In all honesty, it wouldn't bother me to see NS as an entire package go for free at this point, either.

Clan stacking is heavily encouraged, if you don't like it don't complain you can just leave.
Spawncamping is allowed, don't like it then get out. If your stupid team is camping the PAC base with nades and shukos... you WILL be raped for it.
Basically no rules at all.
Map Rotation (2 rounds on each map) Gibraltar, Cerbere, Tunis(16man), Verdun (16man), Sidi PowerPlant (16man), and the Small Operation Shingle.
