Bf2 crashes to desktop after 1.41 patch

  • Bf2 crashes to desktop after 1.41 patch

    (i know this is a common problem but need solution)
    recently intalled full patch 1.41, selected a server to play on.
    About half way through loading it crashes to desktop, although i doesnt freeze at all.
    HELP!
    any solutions?

    try clearing your cache folder in My Documents>Battlefield 2>Mods>BF2>Cache.

            I have uninstalled bf2 and im gunna try and reinstall everything again.. will that help

              were you ever able to play BF2? that 6400 go may be the problem.
