Fire rate change via mouse script

Your own words, proving you either don't know the difference, or made a large typo. They simply make them fire at the max, but can't go over. It's no different than clicking fast. All a script is doing is giving input, the game mechanics act like normal...

I'm not sure what you're saying you are proving...

The script fires the weapon for the player. That means to me that the computer is doing the work, not the player. That's not the way the game was meant to be played.

It's the same with double-binding the scrollwheel. It's not haxploitation, but it is still exploitation.

It's not a big deal to me, but I guess some folks can't see my point. It's okay though, I don't feel like I have to insult any of them.

My point was that you pretty much called it a hack by saying it changed the game itself. This script doesn't do that, so obviously you don't know the difference, which you said to Sloi that you did...

I can go into the options screen and bind my scroll wheel to the fire function. Where in the option screen do I enable or set up a macro ?

I think this thread should be locked. There really isn't an argument here. It's either it's a hack/cheat, or "I don't care" no one is really going against this saying it's actually good. If you wanna use it, then do it. If not, join the bandwagon and know you are above the ones that use it.
