Actually, if you look closer at my post, hopefully you will pickup that when I refer to points, it is about tickets. To paraphrase: Pilots take out a hell of a lot of tickets and Medics keep tickets from slipping away.

I'm afraid though that we are going to take this thread away from what the OP was asking. We can debate the merits of snipers on servers in a different thread. Yeah, it is easy for a lot of people to get mad at then when we are always encountering snipers dropping claymores in firefights or not taking flags when they are the last people left on the server.

Also, assault is my favorite kit. It compliments how I play perfectly. Some brutes find that blitzing in spraying the PKM is the best way to go but with a well timed flashbang/smoke grenade you can blitz in and take out people with your grenade launcher and sweep in and take out the survivors with your trusty M16/F2000.
Ah, someone that said what I feel about the Assault kit. It is nice to be able to clean out people with a powerful gun and have more flexiblity then what is provided with the LMGs (which often you have to drop to the ground to fire). I think they only balance to someone with a PKM is Assault with a GL. Or AT if they can stand up long enough to fire a rocket.

Assualt is a very good class with the G3 but without it I would take the medic kit. You get almost the same gun and say you revive 10 people that saves your team 10 tickets.

Yeah, I used to think like that, but then I gave up on that very good fact because I just got tired of looking like I was getting fresh with dead bodies.

Actually, I just wanted to move on with Kits because I had enough hours as a medic and it was time to expand. Just like now, I have more and more hours as support (because of Iron Gator). And I am actually getting hours in as Spec-ops and AT too. But I'll stick with Assault. Lots of armor and very evil weapons.

As a support player, Assault is my most feared enemy. There's nothing easier to hit with a G/L than a support guy in prone.

              Support all the way.

I'm trying to teach myself to crouch instead of prone in close range situations so I'm not such a sitting duck firing away with my RPK or PKM.

I like assault as well, I play it more than medic for no reason really. I'm not that good with the GL, I'm just too lazy to run around reviving people so I go for the class with the same gun and a little more armor.

SVD is a great gun I use it alot when I play karkand because its quick firing and accurate at long range and I can use the clays effectively for short range. but when im not on the MEC at kark I would say the G# is the best gun in the game.

Hahah, that is so true, the only thing that scares me is as assault is the a G3 or a PKM from my side. Support never has a chance when since I run with my GL armed instead of having my rifle ready. If that first shot from support does not take me down....:ar15:

Well, a DAO is dangerous too, but only if they get the drop on you. Kinda funny how BF2 has a counter for every kit in some strange cosmic way.

I would have to say support if i have a squad with a medic or 2,im unstoppable with the pkm,but if im in a crap squad i go medic and kill with the L85.

I've been playing sniper a lot lately on IO servers and had a lot of fun.
It's very satisfying to headshot another player who thinks he is safe or well hidden.
I don't care that much about clay kills but it's nice when you get the confirmation of the kill ;-) because you put the clay in a good position.
normally I use them for self defense - if I could only pick them up again :-(

Support would be my second choice
                                Medic my third
                                the rest I can't rate
