Whats up guys, friend just gave me the game for free and I hoped on and noticed theres some sweet guns to unlock. I am wondering what level or class or what ever I need to unlock the guns? Also, how long did it take you guys to unlock them.

You get them with promotions which you earn through points. Did your friend give you a manual too?
FYI, unlocks are just alternatives to the stock weapons.
Also, before you ask, you will need to play a round of Special Forces (the expansion) in order to get the second tier weapons. -

It took me about a week to get two unlocks and i dont play THAT much..
I now have the G36, M95, L9 and the British rifle for the medic after just over a week.
You do need SF expansion to unlock some of the cooler weapons though

Well man... most players that have earned the unlocks and ranks, the medals and ribbons, we all have at least 350 hours. if you have that many hours you should have decent rank and skill, and by then you earn points quite rapidly. get someone else to get you the unlocks if you want (as an alternative to buying the expansion) Next time use the search button located on the blackish bar just above the forums. It is your best friend

What I'm asking is, what rank to you receive the G36C for the special ops class? And what do you mean by get a friend to get me the unlocks? you mean get him to get me an account that has them unlocked or like in game throw the gun on the ground and you pick it up?Comment

FIRST THINGS FIRST
Link me your stats (Go to www.bf2s.com)
Tell Me what rank you are?
Then when you achieve the amount of points needed to rank up, you will be able to select the gun unlocks from the BFHQ menu.
So what you need to do is achieve the amount of points needed to "Rank" up. Then you can select b]ANY[/b] first tier unlock you want
(first tier meaning BF2 unlocks, not BF2-Special Forces)

Yes, another G36 user.
Technically, you can get the G36 at your first unlock.
And as Darkloop said, a friend can log on to your account and play SF for you. The 2nd tier unlocks will be available. The first tier ones are always available.
