Revert version of bf2

hi.. i try to get online maps on bf2 and i get this error..the sever only allows players with unmodified content to join revert your version of battlefield 2 to the current official version to join.... i did a quick search on the forums i didn't see anything but i probably missed something plz help if you know how to fix this

re-patch with 1.41 if that fails then you will have to unstall BF2 & re-install it

just to expand on scinto

install order (if you have seperate disks for both SF/BF2)

BF2 -> SF* -> 1.41 full

if you also have EF + AF (via download)

BF2 -> SF -> v1.2 or higher -> EF -> 1.41 full

and its normal when using the SF install for it to patch to 1.1

What were the developers thinking when they forced SF to install the 1.1 patch? That 1.1 would be the final patch? Hahaha...

not really

v1 should be the final release, then anything on top of that is fixes etc

and the reason for it i think is because with 1.1 it stopped you from editing the python folder to allow unlocks online without earning, coz that mixed with SF would have equalled alot of unearned unlocks.
