I guess they changed it in a patch, because I recall people using it as a cheat for farming repair points.

I have done that with clan mates before, very fun stuff. We tried to destroy each others boats and swim aroud, have races with the first one to reach one side of the carrier to the other being the winner. It's great.

I've done that since the demo...
if you go up far enough towards the boats, you can actually shoot through the water and hit people *shhh* lol

lol i found this out last week....and ive been doing it all the time since....lol i love that s**t....i like doing it a squad leader so spec ops can spawn on me and f**k s**t up

also u can hit the side of the carrier and ur boat will drive around fast with the tip pointing up
