if any1 possibly knows a command or option i'm not seeing on how i can turn off my mouse wheel weapon cycling, my vent key is my middle mouse and it's really gettin on my nerves and nobody seems to kno. please help =[

I haven't tested this so here is my suggestion.

Go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\XPAccountname\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001

Find and copy file Controls.con Save copy somewhere safe as if this fails, you'll need to go back to this one.

Open the Controls.com file (that is in the 001 folder) with Wordpad. Find the two instances of the word Wheel. Remove both complete sentences. They are side by side and look like this:
ControlMap.addAxisToTriggerMapping c_GIMouseWheelUp -1 IDFMouse IDAxis_2 0
ControlMap.addAxisToTriggerMapping -1 c_GIMouseWheelDown IDFMouse IDAxis_2 0

and they control your mousewheel usage. The setting for this is not in your regular controls.

Best of luck and remember, if it doesn't work, just install your backup copy.
