    Well had this as well ALOT! and thought i was going nuts. I tried them all believe me, reinstall, latest drivers, PB update etc etc...I did not run the PBSetup from the BF2/PB folder but just ran it from where ever I saved it (other drive, what have you. Put the PBSetup in to the BF2/PB folder and ran it again, there was some new doc's that suddenly appeared and behold it seems to work now. Well.. it worked yesterday night...going in to try some more now but
    EDIT: YUP! works, at least for me. Read that this can be caused by many things, but this at least worked for me.

    system specs is always appreciated so we dont have to keep guessing what the problem is.

    try turning off voip..it mite not fix it, but it should help a little bit
