Fast Food Resteraunts have no problems with hiring a 14 year old for a part time job. When you turn 15, you're eligable for a full time job after you've been working there for longer than 6 months. I am unsure as to what the minimum wage is, regarding the state that you lived in, but when I was 14, I was making $6.50 CDN an hour. (Below Minimum Wage.)

That may not seem like much given the work I was doing, but it helped me finance a car. It was worth it in my eyes.

If you can not find a job, then it is your problem. It's not the fault of EA/DICE, that you're not financially sound enough to meet the costs of a hobby, when you seem to suffer from severe poverty, given the unrequired descriptions of your home life that you had given us.

Anyhow, I would suggest that you take school seriously. Workplaces take well educated students more seriously, and they have a tendency to turn away the wannabe-thugs.

Finally, for our sake: Take English class more seriously. Please learn how to use paragraphs. I have a difficult time reading through your posts, merely because they come off as one gigantic wall of mindless text filled to the brim with garble.

This is ridiculous. I am sick and tired of people making fun of me. I am not a hobo, so please don't call me one. It's unfair to me.

I apologize for calling you names, however your inappropriate language, and your refusal to take any suggestions to heart reminds me of the excuses used by hobos. Your constant referal to your own personal struggle, where you are the victim, only solidifies that fact.

Only you can work to better your situation. Stop blaming others, and start taking responsibility for your own life.

I have never seen a 14 year old work at McDonalds before. I have seen 15 year olds work there before however.

There are some states that have laws against employment for 14 year olds, because 14 year olds are expected to focus on their education. However there are, and have always been exceptions to this law. Fast Food resteraunts for example 'will' hire a 14 year old, at a below-minimum wage position for a maximum of 18-25 hours a week. This is known as 'training.'

They can do this for up to 9 full months! Legally!

That is the loophole.

Once you turn 15, you will then be given full-time, or part-time employment at minimum wage.
