If you put it on the workhorse things on karkand that are in the middle of the street and someone hits those they blow up w/o having the button pushed.

But back to C4, plant them in places where you wouldn't usually look for them. Best chance is above the usual line of sight.
If you are more kill hungry, you have left them at a flag and you don't see it go white, then its better to wait until they have taken it and then blow it. There is always a chace that they enemy saw the C4, got the flag white and ran for cover to wait for it to blow up. If it doesn't they will come back to take the flag ... I did, and got blown up

I saw this one guy on our team that kept putting C4 on the tank, driving near somebody, get out, and when they get in -> BOOM

EDIT: claymores are beside the point but i just remembered how a mate of mine got rid of a roomful of USMC (4 or 5) in Mashtuur main 2nd floor by running up the steps and throwing a claymore into the room ... that was a laugh!

Not noticing C4s is a major problem.
A couple of nights ago I was in the Sharqi TV tower, there were a couple of quys capping the flag while there were 4 packs of C4 planted accross the room. Since the flag was almost white I didn't have time to warn any and just ran out ... guess what ... the second it turned white ... boom. I went back and took the flag and also the happy SpecOps who came back to check his masterpiece.

Always Jihad jeep, but usually, I run away when it's an APC reloadin it's missile. It's 50mm cannons couldn't destroy my car in a few shots! :]!!!

i like to put the c4 in doorways or near a door when i see them enter the room i blow the c4 run up pace in same spot and wait for the next wave works well in warlord

Usually put a couple packs under a vehicle, then leave it near one of their flags. Wait til' they load up with teammates.........then KABOOM!:)

Last night playing Sharqi, I placed C4 on a jeep and took it to capture a flag. I got out of the jeep and ran around until the flag was captured. I forgot about the jeep and continued with my squad... a couple minutes later I went to put C4 on a tank and I had the detonator in my hands. I just clicked it to get more C4 and ended up killing a guy who took the jeep. Not sure where he was on the map, but it made me laugh.

yeah some people just are too concerned about the vehicle, that they dont see 5 packs of C4 sticking out like dogs balls.

On Fushe pass, taking out there UAV, radar etc. and i decided i might aswell use my last C4 pack on the chopper pads.....GOT 13 KILLS!!!

With one pack of c4? Man, thats sick, almost half the enemy team!

Put them on critical wounded people on karkand so the medics rush to revive them. Wait for the to revive then BOOM!! You may get more kills, depends on how many medics swarmed and how many others followed.

on a building, a tree, a crate or a bush right next to a flag. when the enemy comes to cap the flag BOOM! it may not be the best way to rack up kills, but it is much more satisfying.

They're stupid enough to not see the C4 all over the white helipad?

Well you have to keep in mind i place the c4 under the lowest part of the helicopter, and while they steal the heli they have to fight the resident chopperwhores, they tend to be in too much of a hurry to see the c4. Strangely enough they keep trying after getting blown up several times, like i would ever get bored of it!
