Re: verifying client data!!
i changed from a old IDE 7200RPM 40GB HD to a new maxtor SATA II 7200RPM 8MB buffer 80GB HDD
lets just say i was one of the last to get in a server and now i'm allways one of the first...
verifying client data reads content from the HDD so, the faster the HDD the faster the loading.
as simple as thatLeave a comment:

I just upgraded my PC and im now usually first in game :)
Good CPU and 2GB of ram is what will verify fast. SATA drives also of course.Leave a comment:

Here you go , THe ONLY problem I had was, reinstalling the video drivers after I did that process because I was giving me a bit of problems in-game.... I use ATI and I also used Driver Cleaner PRO when I unninstalled and reinstalled back those ATI drivers.
As said in there: "it should have folders in the side menu showing 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. Open up 0001 and in it delete both MasterIdChecksum or SlaveIdDataChecksum, do this in the 0002 folder as well. now reboot." I found that ( 0001 and all those , I had more, I had 0008 too I think but 0001 and 0002 didn't had those things to delete, but some of the others had , so I deleted MasterIdChecksum or SlaveIdDataChecksum in 0006 and 0008 I think but it's probably different from machine to machine.

Read the guide that Lt.Kris refers to. It'll show you how to check your hard drive speeds.
Or just search the forums for verifying client data!! (in the title) as it gets asked weekly.Leave a comment:
