Ok, so you hate claymores. Do the following:

Never cap flags that aren't fully or at least partially accesable by vehicles (eg: TV station in sharqi, Hotel on Karkand is cappable by a vehicle)

Try to cap flags in a vehicle, also try not to be in the gunner seat (easy target for snipers, actually, go in the gunner seat but stay crouched) or in the driver seat (easy target for jets)
You can also use most vehicles to blow up claymores and cause no harm

Don't play IO, ever. You are asking to get killed by claymores.

In SF, clever usage of grappling hook can avoid most if not all claymores.

Don't go into common chokepoints (eg Karkand alleyways)

Don't follow a sniper round a corner

Don't climb up ladders when you know an enemy sniper is there, go far away and get him like that or climb another building.
Again in SF just use your head and your grapple hook, flashbang the sniper for added fun.

Be squad leader so you can ask for a vehicle anytime you need one. When you ask for a vehicle as a squad member it doesn't go through to the commander and so 99% of the time the ignorant squad leader won't care about your request.

Vehicles (Even DPV's) and/or Grapple hooks for SF = The key to avoiding claymores

Also, when you get those suicidal claymore spammers, try to move as much as possible. There is roughly a 2 second delay between laying the claymore and it going live. So if someone lays one right infront of you, just move out of the way instantly and you should survive.

Note that because battlefield is so dynamic that all this isn't foolproof (nothing is) but it should increase your chances of surviving. Common sense, sometimes i don't even follow what i just wrote. Everyone makes mistakes. Claymores never do.

ye i got my vet explosives with clays so easy to kill and i was so happy but it seemed to take longer to get took like 23 kills with a clay weird.

Claymore spamming is pretty dam annoying, but the only time it's acceptable is to get sniper badges/explosives imo.

Same way i got mine i love claymore spamming cause it gets nerds worked up for no reason just remember to check all the corners between usmc spawn and hotel because you never know

I'm happy you had an CTD, I hope you have CTD everytime you spam the place with claymores. Too bad you got your badge. I hope next time you do something like this you not only get an CTD but your PC crashes and your files get corrupt.

The stats/medal/ranking system is the new opium of the miltary fps crowd. Plus the reason why all the Adventure/MMORPG crowd have joined up too.

...no wonder gameplay on ranked servers is so inferior..players pre-plan to go for specific medals/badges instead of playing according to what the team needs to win....

i love when you drop a claymore as mec down into the little allyway by hotel and a huge group of people comes like the whole squad and BAM right in their face 6 kills 1 clay makes my day
