yeah, and unfortunately it gives a bad name to people who really served in armed conflicts...everytime I see someone with purple heart bumber sticker I think "what a noob"....not (sarcasm...I have big respect for military people) :evil:

Military people can't receive the Purple Medal because they can't die 4 times ..

I hate it when people say the Purple Heart is bad! It's not!
A Purple Heart means you did alot of fighting and taking damage and that you had to take alot of dieing to get it.

I got one during a feable attempt at getting one of the knife or pistol badges when I wasn't very good with either. However I was a medic and did my job helping the team with a number of revives and heals. I am a medal/badge whore so I wasn't too bummed in getting it as I want to get all the awards the game has to offer, even the PWNED Heart medal. However, getting more than one would be shameful.

FWIW, I do have all the medals, experts and ribbons in BF2 except for the Euro medal. I also have all the experts and most of the ribbons and medals for SF. More importantly, I have inflicted many more PHs than the one I have.

^Well imo the purple heart is the worst medal you can recive. I don't have it on either of my main accounts. I usually rage quit when I am doing that bad..

Its an award. I got it for the medal. Im no point/rank whore but nothing wrong with collecting all of the awards. If you check my stats you will see I have every award I can possibly get but the Expert Explosives, which I've tried alot of times but can't seem to get without using lame tactics. The Crew Specialist, need to get round to getting that one.

I got it on purpose you will find most did. And lmao if you say ''noobs'' have it because as a prime example look at BushViper over a 3. k/d ratio and has the Purple Heart.

i think i have 3 right when i got sf i kept getting owned because i wasn't used to the level and everybody else was like captain or leutenant and i just kept getting raped in the palace (only base i had)
