I don't think we're whining, I think we're annoyed. Because it WAS supposed to be released today, and now they've delayed it.

Why announce a date and then change it at the last minute? Get the patch done, make sure it's 100% ready and then announce a release date, not **** us about.

Not a surprise, after the recent spate of eff-ups, EA/Dice have once again proved to be pretty much incompetent.

I’m just glad I wont be going through this with 2142 :)

When I first read that 1.4 was coming out today a few days ago, I was excited cause I don't have to work.

But now a delay....I don't have another day off for another 8 days. :|:

Here is some info from another post in the UK forums about the delay. I tried to quote it in their forums, but I keep getting database connection errors.

We understand that this is going to cause a significant amount of aggravation, however it is worth ensuring that the patch actually resolves as many issues as possible. So some additional time is being taken to ensure that this is the case.

This last thing we want is a repeat of the 1.3 patch.

dang people. relax

you were complaining because they released 1.3 without testing and making sure was a good patch. now you are compaining because EA/DICE is taking a long time making sure this is a good patch. so what the hell. no matter what they do, they still messing up. kids, grow up.

i want to make sure this is a patch. I dont have CTD but the server that i rented crashes alot. so i want that fixed. at the sametime. i want a good patch. let them take their time.

I'm more annoyed that they're changing things after the beta test and not testing the changes.
